-exploring what it means to serve its community with good drink, good food, and hospitality -exploring what it would mean to think well -exploring what it would mean to be the thoughtful presence of Christ -exploring the intersection of Christian faith and academic discourse, with a view toward human flourishing and the common good To this end, applicants must be willing to fulfill the following expectations: -operate the coffeehouse program of the Christian Study Center of Gainesville, known as Pascal’s Coffeehouse -learn the necessary skills of a craft coffee professional -cultivate a space of conversation -participate in semester-long shared reading that aims to supplement university studies -participate in occasional private dinner discussions with scholars and professionals from various vocational areas.
